Welcome To
Columbines Women's Running Club

LOVE RUNNING?

Columbines Running is Colorado's women-only running club that welcomes and embraces all ages, abilities, distances and paces. We run mostly in the Denver metro and surrounding areas.

We host scheduled fun runs, track, volunteering opportunities, trail runs in summer, and we have a Saturday morning training group for long distance runners!

Young Girls Running

The Colorado Columbines Women’s Running Club was formed in 1978 to promote recreational and competitive running for women of all ages and abilities. The club reflects the general population of women runners – from beginners to ultramarathoners, from turtles to rabbits. Whether you’re a sub-seven minute miler or prefer a more leisurely 12 minute/mile pace or prefer to walk, we have members moving at your speed. We have over 150 members who live anywhere from Evergreen to Broomfield to Aurora. The Columbines Club has two fundamental goals: to provide women runners with an opportunity to build a social network of runners and to support the running community.

UPCOMING EVENTS

Columbine events are available to all paid members, and we would love to have you join us. If you are NOT a member yet, but would like to try us out, you may attend an upcoming run free of charge. If, after the run, you feel we are a good fit, you can sign up as a member for only $35/yr. Our upcoming runs are listed below - Note: only paid members are able to RSVP for upcoming runs.

Questions? Want to try us out for a run? Send us a message and we’ll get back to you shortly.

HEAR FROM OUR MEMBERS

“I love being a Columbine because it inspires me to keep moving. Seeing active ladies of all ages shows me that I can do it. I love that we do events (races) together, and we also gather just to have fun. I love our fun runs and La Fete.”
